Born on Long Island, New York, Lisa Jaboor’s upbringing exposed her to many forms of artistic expression. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Goldsmithing from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania.
In 1989 she began working as a jeweler, winning numerous awards for her work in jewelry design. In 1998 she began experimenting with beaded jewelry, eventually adding an entire line to her catalog of designs. Recently she has begun making artistic pictures that are woven entirely out of beads.
While jewelry making is her first passion, Lisa also enjoys working with colored pencil, watercolors,& acrylics, as well as sculptural mediums.
